Summary of Proposal
We are modifying and improving a class project for Dynamic Persuasion Design. There are a number of improvements we want to implement, and we want to implement at least 5 of the 10 objectives listed. The end goal is to submit the project to various awards contests.
So far, I have updated the scores panel so that high scores and the score summary are shown at the same time, not in tabs. I have also begun implementing “learn more” panels, which will give general information on the various types of power. Also, I have discovered and fixed a number of fairly minor bugs, and started making some GUI enhancements.

The Bioshock PS3 Site won an FWA today. Congrats to everyone at Rokkan on a 2nd consecutive FWA! It was an awesome project to be involved in, and it was great getting to work with such talented people.

The Bioshock PS3 Site that was my major project while interning at Rokkan this summer just launched. Check it out, but make sure you have a fast internet connection!

The Stride Spit-It-Out Adventure Game won an FWA today. I’m sure this was largely due to the faster hooks I programmed into the video transitions.

The first project I’ve been working on at Rokkan, the Stride Spit-it-Out Adevnture, went live a few days ago. My role was pretty small, since I came in towards the end of the project, but it was still a pretty cool project to be involved with.

I moved into my sweet Manhattan apartment today, and I’m starting my internship at Rokkan on Monday. Should be fun.

I have changed the design of this blog as an experiment in sIFR dynamic text replacement and customizing wordpress themes. If you haven’t played around with sIFR, its a way of displaying fonts that users don’t have installed on their computers in parts of an html site, without having to manually create images of every title. Setting it up is surprisingly easy.
